This is a really random post, and the pictures are kind of out of order, so I
will explain them as I go. But first let me update everyone on whats been
happening with us. Its been kind of crazy around our house lately,
you know the saying "when it rains it pours". Well It seems to be true!
It all started with our home phone, it stopped working, so we replaced
it with a new one that luckily we found on clearance at office max.
Next came our refrigerator, the ice and water dispensor stopped working.
we had no idea why, but I was just thankful the fridge and freezer were still
functioning! A few days later out lamp in our Television blew. luckily
someone in town had a replacement so we didn't have to order one,
but the very next day we had cereal for breakfast and BJ asked why
the milk was warm?? Well just our luck the fridge and freezer
decided to stop working along with everything else. Thankfully we didn't have
to buy a new fridge, we just had to replace a part on it, which somebody also
had in stock so we had our fridge up and running within a couple hours.
It also fixed the ice and water dispensor!! Now we just have the one
problem with the brakes on our truck, which randomly stop working
properly when its been idling for too long. I am so grateful that we were
able to get everything fixed and back to normal. I just hope it stays that way!
We've been working on our
basement this summer and we
have gotten quite a bit accomplished.
Calista and Tag wanted to be in
the pictures I was taking of the
family room after we got our
flooring in.
We went to Kanab a couple weekends ago and the kidswere helping Grandpa feed the chickens.
Calista loves the chickens, She looks like a true
farm girl in her night gown and crazy hair!
Taggart needed a family picture for his all
about me poster he was working on for preschool,
but we didn't have a recent one. So this one was
taken with the timer and the end of the day, thats
why we are all kind of scrubby. It will have to work
for now.
Taggart had his first day of preschool on Sept 3rd.
He was so excited to finally go, since Zander had already
been in kindergarten for a few weeks!
This is our family room in the basement beforethe flooring and baseboards.
This is after the carpet guys installed the carpet
and BJ finishing up the laminate. Im so lucky I married
such a talented man!
The baseboards arent up yet in this picture,
but the flooring is finally done!!
