We went to San Diego at the end of May
for our family vacation. We had a busy 6 days!
first we visited some of my family in Rancho Cucamonga,
then headed to Long beach to see the Russian Sub
and the Queen Mary. Then we headed to Santa Monica
Beach for some fun in the sun! The boys were stoked to ride
the big ferris wheel on the pier, but just our luck the rides
on the pier closed early that day. We were pretty bummed.
So we went over to third street to catch some street perfomers.
I never would've imagined that little Taggart would be one
of those performers! we saw some dancers so we asked him to
show us his moves, I never knew he was a little break dancer!
It was the cutest, funniest thing I have ever seen, I just wish I
had a video camera. Then we headed for San Diego to spend some
time with BJ's family at Sea World. The trip home was
probably the most eventful. Zander got sick and was throwing up
the whole way home! We made it to a gas station right before the
first time he threw up, as soon as I got out and reached to undo
his seatbelt to get him out, he threw up all over inside the truck!
So it was a long smelly trip home, but this nice lady at the gas
station made him a puke bag for the rest of the trip home. That
was a lifesaver! and of course as soon as we got home he
was fine and didnt throw up again. It was a great trip, but it was
good to be home!!
Poor Tag, they said he was too short to ride. You
have to be the same height to ride on the Atlantis,
which was way scary compared to the rapids ride,
but they let him on that one. We felt pretty bad so
we were going to buy him a toy sword, but all we had
left was our credit card, and the machine wasn't working.
Poor kid
Zander & Tag before the Journey to Atlantis ride.
Once was enough for them, they wouldn't get back
on that ride. I felt pretty bad. they loved the first part
that you see in the picture, but after that I dont think Tag
was breathing. They were both pretty scared.
Calista & BJ at the Believe show. Calista loved
the Killer Whales!
We had to take a picture of Taggart by
the milk jug. If we had a milk cow, he would
be attached to it 24/7!
BJ walking on the beach
BJ and the boys on the Forest Gump bench
at the Santa Monica pier
Me and the kids in the Russian Sub.
Pretty amazing that grown men could
fit in there and actually function.
resist, it was funny!
I got pooped on right before that. Stupid birds!!
luckily it was just my arm.
BJ and the boys at Seaport Village. BJ wanted
to go see the aircraft carrier they had, but of course
when we got there they had just closed for the day. BJ
was pretty sad.
those stinkin' birds! wherever we went they
thought it was the funniest thing to chase them.
They even got Calista doing it.
