Where to begin....the kids have been keeping busy, which means
I've been busy!! Tag started soccer at the end of March and
finished up just as baseball season started. I am actually quite
annoyed with myself, because I dont have one picture of Tag
playing soccer, also the only picture I have of them playing bball
is their team pic! I know how lame am I, seriously!? Anyway
Zander didn't want to do soccer again this year so just Tag
played. They both really wanted to do peewee baseball
so that started in May. Games twice a week and practice in
between made it seem like thats all we did for the last month!
They were both on different teams so sometimes they would
have games at the same time. BJ and I would split up and take
each of them to their games! Both teams struggled a little in the
beginning, but by the end of the season they were doing sooo
good!! I couldn't believe how much they learned in such a short
time! Well of course during all the sports stuff, the school year
was also coming to an end. Tag had his kindergarten graduation
and Zander had his 1st grade program. I was actually kind of
worried about Tag starting Kindergarten so early since his
birthday is in July he barely made the deadline. He did so good
though, he quickly put my worries to rest! They both did great in
their programs too! We also spent an afternoon at Sand Hollow
Reservoir. We wanted to go to the good beach so we thought we
would walk the extra way through the sand...ummm...in flipflops!
Word to the wise, NEVER ATTEMPT THIS IN THE SUMMER
HEAT!! I'm sure that is pretty obvious to most people, but to me
and my friend Annie we figured it wouldn't be to unbearable.
WRONG!! The sand was so flippin hott!! we had to carry calista
and Annie's little boy Kellan the whole way with our beach bags
and beach chairs! (did I mention Annie is 9 months prego?)
needless to say the walk to and from the water seemed to last
an eternity! Good thing the kids had fun swimming and building
sand castles!

Calista and Kellan

A couple sundays ago, I was making bread and
Calista wanted to help. The picture doesn't do
her justice...she was covered from head to toe in
flour!

Enjoying treats after the kindergarten program

Zander had a part in his program...this is him
telling what they did in that month, too bad
you can't see his face! : (

This was actually a few months ago on one
of the few nice days we were having at the time.
Tag and his friend Ethan wanted to do a lemonade
stand. I just thought it was to cute not to get a
picture of!

Sorry its such a long post! Hopefully I can keep
up on it better this summer!!
